Our third bank holiday weekend gathering is just around the corner and features a whole host of ‘Our Friends Electrik’, who are joining us for four days of arts, music, make-up, clothes swapping and alterations, performances, local craft breweries, food and much more!

Friday 24 May

Public Bar

Saturday 25 May

The Den & Waterhouse Way
11am to 4pm: The Whitworth Family Takeover
Come and experience a re-imagining of the wonderful Whitworth Gallery within The Refuge!
Families are invited to take part in a line-up of activities for all ages where you can construct your own mini gallery and re-create its artworks; experimenting with colour and create large pastel masterpieces.
Bring along your littlest family members for art baby and make your own 3D paper flowers in the courtyard.
All events are drop-in and free!

Waterhouse Way
5-10pm: Homoelectric Pre-Party
Join us for alfresco shenanigans in the courtyard with DJs including Supernature Disco and Julie Wills – the official pre-party before their bank holiday knees up at Hidden.

Sunday 26 May

Waterhouse Way
10am to 12 noon: Our Kids Social activities including lino printing, silent disco, mobile storytelling and more!

The Den
11am to 4pm: Urban Decay Cosmetics Masterclasses
Three classes throughout the day teaching advanced make-up skills. For more details and tickets head over to Facebook.

Public Bar
12 noon to 4pm: Stitched Up clothes swap and alterations workshop
Bring all of your unworn or unwanted clothes and swap them for new-to-you garms to refresh your wardrobe the eco-friendly way. Men’s, women’s and children’s clothes are welcome – it’s a family friendly event.
You can also bring along a damaged or unloved item of clothing to the wardrobe surgery where we’ll help you wield needle and thread and breathe new life into it!

Waterhouse Way and Public Bar
From 4pm: Dr Sid’s Summer Shindig
Sid and guest record pickers Lord Chester, Dom Blood and Fire playing a selection of all things smooth and easy while you enjoy a drink alfresco-style in the courtyard during the afternoon. Then we’ll take things inside to close the night in the Public Bar.

Monday 27 May

Winter Garden
From 11.30am: lululemon Manchester yoga
Wind down from the weekend and take advantage of that extra day off work with a very special yoga session in our beautiful Winter Garden by lululemon.
