This January 2026, we’re leaning into a well-known Mancunian truth: everyone loves a picky tea.
Introducing ‘The House Edit’
‘The House Edit’ is our £35 set menu, designed to take the stress out of choosing and put the joy back into eating. It’s the ultimate Refuge picky tea done properly.
Available Monday to Saturday throughout January, the menu brings together a generous spread of Refuge favourites, made for sharing and savouring. Think sweet potato hummus, Korean fried chicken, pork belly and all the bold, comforting flavours that make Refuge what it is. It’s relaxed, flavour-packed dining, perfect for those evenings when you want a bit of everything but don’t want to overthink it.
Set menus are having a moment and for good reason. After a long day, the last thing anyone wants is another decision to make. What to have for dinner shouldn’t feel like hard work. The House Edit is about trust — letting us curate the very best of Refuge so you can simply sit back, dig in, and enjoy.
Pre-booking is required, and we’d recommend securing your table early — January is always a busy one.
Clock In Early at the Bar
Of course, January evenings don’t always need a full plan. Sometimes, they just need a great drink and a bit of breathing space.
That’s why we’re also inviting you to ‘Clock In’ early at the bar. Running Monday to Friday from 12–8pm throughout January, we’re serving eight selected cocktails for £8 each — perfect for a long lunch, an after-work catch-up or easing yourself gently into the night without rushing.
