Garden of Wonder by Perrier-Jouët

Join us at Refuge to experience ‘Garden of Wonder by Perrier-Jouët’, bringing nature to life in the heart of The Refuge.

Launching on Friday 27 October, Garden of Wonder by Perrier-Jouët is an interactive landscaped garden built into an 18-seater dining room table, allowing guests to bring nature to life via augmented reality butterflies, hummingbirds and dragonflies, whilst enjoying a chilled glass of Perrier-Jouët’s newest cuvée, Blanc de Blancs NV. With a focus on sustainable beauty, the garden draws on inspiration from the natural world, highlighting both the fragility and extraordinary strength and beauty of the earth.

Highlighting the concept of ‘rewilding’, the garden will feature flowers, plants, herbs, grasses, miniature trees and flowing water and will be animated by a breeze that will gently billow across it, rustling the grass and leaves. Above the garden, suspended from great branches of willow hang the sky gardens; ferns and flowers with elegantly twisted branches create a canopy over the entire installation. This exquisite habitat will ignite the senses and encourage visitors to take a moment to carry the message of sustainability beyond the garden.

The Garden of Wonder by Perrier-Jouët will be open from Friday 27 October until Sunday 12 November. Do come and enjoy a glass of Perrier-Jouët, or delight in dinner around the table with friends. We’re also offering an exciting selection of special events, which will include a Champagne flight tasting and floristry class.

FLORISTRY CLASS

Join us for a floristry class with Melissa, the owner of Jam Jar and the curators of the Garden of Wonder by Perrier Jouët. Melissa will talk you through all the wonderful elements found in the table. You’ll also create your own Jam Jar to take away including grasses and flowers found within the Garden of Wonder. Tickets include a glass of Blancs de Blancs NV to enjoy throughout the class.

CHAMPAGNE TASTING

A Perrier-Jouët Champagne masterclass led by Perrier-Jouët Brand Ambassador Jonathan Simms. Novices and aficionados alike will enjoy an informative and insightful introduction to the history and heritage of Perrier-Jouët, and will be guided through the unique characteristics and flavour profiles of their newest cuvée Blanc de Blancs NV, followed by Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut, Blason Rosé and prestige cuvée Belle Epoque Rosé.
