This August Bank Holiday, The Refuge at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is where Manchester comes together to celebrate love, music, and community.

We’re going all-in with a free two-day Pride Weekender and a Diana Ross “I’m Coming Out” 45th Anniversary Party, serving up a long weekend of high-energy music, iconic performances, and pure Bank Holiday magic.

Come As You Are Pride Weekender – Sat 23 & Sun 24 August

Our legendary Come As You Are celebration returns with a weekend of house, disco, and unfiltered joy. Across the Refuge Public Bar and The Refuge Terrace, expect big sets, bold performances, and nothing but good vibes.

The Highlights:

• Flash Ibiza terrace takeover both days – led by Manchester’s own Guy Williams, the DJ and producer behind Ibiza’s most inclusive party

• Supernature Disco joining the Saturday terrace lineup – bringing their trademark blend of disco classics and infectious energy

• The Family Gorgeous in the main bar Saturday – with hourly drag performances from 3pm to 7pm

• A stacked DJ roster across both spaces

On 22nd August 1980, Diana Ross released I’m Coming Out – an anthem of joy, freedom, and self-expression.

Exactly 45 years later, we’re celebrating with a Motown to Disco night to keep the Bank Holiday magic alive. Expect floor-fillers from Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, The Jacksons, The Temptations, and more – the perfect soundtrack for one more night on the dancefloor.
